Hi, my name is Oriel and I am a fourth year Law and Finance student at QUT.

As a candidate for Business Councillor with Revive, I am proud to be advocating for the needs and interests of business and law students at QUT. Our current Guild has struggled with instability and disengagement, leaving many students feeling disconnected from campus life. With Revive, we are committed to creating a stronger, more stable Guild that truly serves the interests of all students.

As the president of the QUT Economics and Finance society, I believe it’s essential to enhance our campus culture and provide more opportunities for business and law students to connect and collaborate. That means fully funding our clubs and societies, providing membership funding, and ensuring easy access to room bookings and advertising for events. We’ll also work to create exciting networking opportunities with industry leaders to help students bridge the gap between their studies and future careers.

I’m focused on addressing the cost-of-living pressures that many students face. By advocating for affordable meal options at campus facilities and reducing parking costs, we can help make university life more manageable and encourage students to return to campus.

Together, we can build a better university experience for all business students. Vote for me and the Revive team, and let’s create a more vibrant, supportive community at QUT.
