New Priceline Pharmacy Opens at Gardens Point Campus

Priceline Pharmacy has opened a new branch at QUT Gardens Point campus in the P Block Food Court location.

Priceline has replaced the spot where Origin Kebab originally stood and has extended into QUT Bookshop.

QUT said they’re pleased to be able to re-open a pharmacy on the Gardens Point campus.

QUT said the choice to lease the spot to a pharmacy was made because students flagged the need for a pharmacy on GP campus early last year.

“QUT carefully considered the requirements of students, the demand for different offerings on GP campus (medical, food and pharmacy),” said the University.

Priceline Queensland State Manager Justin Wither said the pharmacy will provide convenient access to essential healthcare services and medications, catering specifically to the needs of QUT students and staff.

“[Priceline] offers unparalleled convenience allowing students and faculty to fulfil their health and beauty needs without needing to venture off-campus,” said Withers.

Students took to QUT Stalkerspace 2.1 expressing mixed reactions, either commending that a pharmacy was back on campus or commenting that the space should have been given to a food vendor.

This new pharmacy serves as a replacement to the previous Gardens Point pharmacy which QUT says closed as a result of the COVID pandemic.

QUT has also said the new pharmacy combines full dispensary services and offers QUT pharmacy students WIL placement opportunities on campus and across the broader Priceline network.
